Take one listen to Hinds and you‘ll feel like you‘ve been sent back in time to the 60‘s. The charming group of Madrid music makers, formally known as Deers, create real and sincere tunes that are as fun as the bubbly personalities they wear on their sleeves.
I knew Carlotta, Ana, Ade, and Amber would appreciate the beauty and chaos that is the “Brooklyn experience,” so we braved the Marcy Av station in the middle of rush hour madness - and later caught twilight over the city skyline at the waterfront in Greenpoint. Celebrating the end of their US tour and a year since the release of “Bamboo” and “Trippy Gum”, the band closed this chapter alongside friends and fans with an affectionate late night cap at Baby’s All Right.
A fitting end to a day that was a story all on its own.
