There’s no denying the powerful presence of The Soft Moon.
Easily a favorite amongst us, Luis Vasquez’s project bends and transforms industrial and post-punk noise in ways that would make the original pioneers of these genres proud. Signature guitar and vocal howls rose and resonated at Music Hall of Williamsburg, lead strongly by Luis and the menacing rhythm section driven by Luigi Pianezzola‘s bass and Vallo on drums.
The Soft Moon shared the stage with Dum Dum Girls‘ Dee Dee and Brandon of Crocodiles - creating Brooklyn’s version of the Blue Man Group to close out the night - spawning a sonic boom that traveled through every last remaining, heavily breathing body left standing in the venue.
